Dock & Done Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 2026

Welcome to Dock & Done LLC (“Dock & Done,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and use of Dock & Done memberships, concierge services, one-time services, add-ons, provisioning services, and other services offered through our website, booking platform, or directly through Dock & Done.

By purchasing a membership, booking a service, requesting an add-on, or otherwise using Dock & Done services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Our Services

Dock & Done provides boat concierge and vessel-preparation services designed to make boat ownership and outings more convenient.

Depending on the service, membership tier, vessel, and customer request, services may include:

  • Uncovering and preparing a vessel before use

  • Re-covering and resetting a vessel after use

  • Light wiping of seats, cushions, windshields, and visible surfaces

  • Removal of trash and visible debris

  • Checking and addressing visible moisture where reasonably accessible

  • Organizing seating areas and requested items

  • Placing requested provisions aboard

  • Provisioning coordination

  • Flowers, food, snacks, ice, beverages, event items, and other requested additions

  • Visual checks of readily accessible areas of the vessel

  • Other concierge services offered by Dock & Done

The exact services provided depend upon the service purchased, the member's membership tier, the requests submitted when booking, vessel accessibility, and availability.

2. Nature and Limitations of Our Services

Dock & Done is a boat concierge service.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, Dock & Done does not provide professional marine mechanical, electrical, structural, surveying, repair, restoration, detailing, navigation, captain, or safety-inspection services.

Any visual vessel check performed by Dock & Done is intended only to identify readily visible conditions while our team is present. It is not a marine survey, mechanical inspection, safety certification, seaworthiness determination, or substitute for inspection by a qualified marine professional.

Dock & Done does not guarantee that every hidden, developing, inaccessible, or mechanical condition will be discovered.

3. Vessel Owner Authorization

By requesting service, you represent that you are:

  • The owner of the vessel; or

  • Legally authorized by the vessel owner to request Dock & Done services and permit access to the vessel.

You authorize Dock & Done personnel to enter, access, handle, uncover, cover, and perform the requested services aboard the vessel as reasonably necessary to complete your booking.

4. Vessel and Marina Access

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information necessary for Dock & Done to access the vessel.

This may include:

  • Marina name

  • Slip or dock location

  • Vessel name

  • Gate instructions

  • Access codes

  • Keys

  • Lockbox information

  • Parking instructions

  • Dock restrictions

  • Marina rules

  • Vessel-specific instructions

The customer is responsible for ensuring Dock & Done is permitted to access the marina, dock, vessel, and surrounding areas.

If Dock & Done cannot perform a scheduled service because access information is missing, inaccurate, expired, or access is denied, the appointment may be treated as a completed or late-cancelled visit where appropriate.

Access credentials provided to Dock & Done will be used only as reasonably necessary to provide requested services.

5. Member Boat Concierge Visits

Membership concierge visits may be used for either:

Pre-Arrival Preparation
or
Post-Trip Reset

The customer selects the desired visit type when booking.

Pre-Arrival Preparation

Depending on the membership and customer request, a Pre-Arrival visit may include services such as:

  • Uncovering the vessel

  • Preparing seating areas

  • Light wiping of seats and cushions as needed

  • Light cleaning of visible windshield or surface areas

  • Removal of visible dirt or debris

  • Placement of requested items

  • Provisioning setup when separately ordered

  • General preparation of readily accessible areas before the customer's arrival

Post-Trip Reset

Depending on the membership and customer request, a Post-Trip visit may include:

  • Removal of trash and visible debris

  • Resetting seating areas

  • Organizing items

  • Checking readily visible areas for moisture

  • Light wiping of seats and cushions as needed

  • Re-covering the vessel when included and reasonably possible

  • General post-use reset of accessible areas

These services are not equivalent to professional detailing, deep cleaning, mold remediation, repair, or maintenance.

6. Memberships

Dock & Done currently offers membership levels that may include Dockside, Signature, and Reserve.

Membership benefits may include a designated number of concierge visits, preferred rates, discounts, member-only services, membership gifts, or other benefits.

The benefits displayed at the time a membership is purchased determine the benefits associated with that membership.

Dock & Done may introduce, modify, or discontinue membership tiers for future customers. Any changes affecting an existing customer's recurring price or material subscription terms will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

7. Monthly Membership Billing

Memberships are billed on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise stated.

By purchasing a recurring membership, the customer expressly authorizes Dock & Done and its payment processor to charge the payment method provided for the membership price at each recurring billing cycle until the membership is canceled.

Membership charges occur according to the billing schedule presented at checkout.

California's Automatic Renewal Law requires businesses offering automatically renewing services to obtain affirmative consent and provide clear cancellation information, among other requirements. California AG

8. Membership Renewal

Memberships automatically renew each billing cycle until canceled.

The applicable membership price, billing frequency, and renewal terms will be disclosed when the membership is purchased.

If Dock & Done changes the recurring membership price, any required advance notice and cancellation information will be provided in accordance with applicable law. California currently requires advance notice when an accepted subscription fee change will take effect. California AG

9. Membership Cancellation

Customers may cancel a membership at any time before their next billing date to prevent future recurring charges.

Cancellation applies to future renewal charges and does not retroactively cancel a billing period that has already begun, except where otherwise required by law.

For memberships purchased online, Dock & Done will maintain an online cancellation option consistent with applicable California requirements. California law requires consumers who enroll online to be able to cancel online without steps designed to obstruct or delay cancellation. California AG

for membership assistance.

10. Included Membership Visits

Included concierge visits reset according to the applicable membership billing cycle.

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

  • Unused visits do not roll over into a future billing cycle.

  • Unused visits have no cash value.

  • Unused visits cannot be exchanged for cash or account credit.

  • Visits cannot be transferred between separate membership accounts.

  • Included visits must be used while the applicable membership is active and in good standing.

A concierge visit may be used for either Pre-Arrival Preparation or Post-Trip Reset.

11. Additional Member Visits

Members who use all included visits for a billing cycle may purchase additional eligible concierge visits at the member rate applicable to their membership tier, where offered.

Additional visits are subject to:

  • Availability

  • Membership status

  • Applicable pricing

  • Vessel location

  • Service availability

12. Scheduling

All services are subject to appointment availability.

Submitting a preferred appointment time does not guarantee availability until the booking has been confirmed.

Dock & Done may need to adjust a service time because of marina access, staffing, weather, traffic, harbor conditions, vessel accessibility, or other operational circumstances.

Whenever reasonably possible, Dock & Done will communicate material scheduling changes with the customer.

13. Customer Service Requests

Customers are responsible for providing accurate service instructions when booking.

Dock & Done will use reasonable efforts to complete requested items, but requests outside the scope of the selected service or requiring additional time, personnel, purchases, specialized equipment, or third-party services may result in additional charges.

Dock & Done may contact the customer for approval before performing materially different or additional paid work.

14. Cancellations and Rescheduling of Appointments

Customers should cancel or reschedule appointments as early as reasonably possible.

You should decide on one specific policy here before launch. I would use something like:

Appointments canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled service will not be deducted from the customer's included membership visits. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be treated as a used visit.

You can soften that further if you want Dock & Done to be generous with members.

I would not publish this section until we decide your exact cancellation window, because whatever we put here should match Acuity.

15. Failed Vessel Access

If Dock & Done arrives or attempts to perform service but cannot access the vessel because of circumstances within the customer's control—including incorrect access instructions, locked gates, unavailable keys, expired credentials, incorrect slip information, or lack of required authorization—the visit may be treated as used.

Dock & Done will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer before abandoning a scheduled service when practicable.

16. Weather and Unsafe Conditions

Marine environments can change quickly.

Dock & Done may delay, reschedule, modify, or decline a service when conditions may reasonably create a safety risk to personnel, the vessel, surrounding property, or equipment.

Examples may include:

  • Lightning

  • Severe weather

  • Unsafe dock conditions

  • Excessive wind

  • Flooding

  • Restricted harbor access

  • Hazardous vessel conditions

  • Emergency marina closures

  • Government or harbor restrictions

Visits rescheduled by Dock & Done solely because of unsafe conditions will not be intentionally forfeited by the customer.

17. Vessel Condition

Customers acknowledge that vessels and marine equipment are continuously exposed to water, salt, sunlight, humidity, temperature changes, vibration, corrosion, and other environmental conditions.

Dock & Done is not responsible for deterioration that existed before service or occurs independently of our work.

This may include deterioration affecting:

  • Canvas

  • Boat covers

  • Snaps

  • Zippers

  • Straps

  • Upholstery

  • Vinyl

  • Plastics

  • Glass

  • Lines

  • Cleats

  • Hardware

  • Fasteners

  • Electronics

  • Storage compartments

  • Hinges

  • Seals

  • Other vessel components

If our personnel observe an obvious problem while performing service, we may notify the customer. However, Dock & Done does not assume an ongoing duty to inspect, monitor, maintain, or protect the vessel between appointments.

18. Boat Covers and Canvas

Boat covers, canvas, snaps, fasteners, straps, zippers, and related components can become brittle, corroded, stretched, weakened, or difficult to operate over time.

Dock & Done will exercise reasonable care when handling such components.

Dock & Done is not responsible for failure caused by pre-existing wear, brittleness, deterioration, corrosion, improper installation, defective components, or other conditions not caused by Dock & Done.

If a cover or component appears unsafe or likely to be damaged through normal handling, Dock & Done may decline to manipulate it and notify the customer.

19. Personal Property

Customers are responsible for securing valuable or sensitive personal property aboard the vessel before service.

Examples include:

  • Cash

  • Jewelry

  • Watches

  • Electronics

  • Important documents

  • Collectibles

  • Firearms

  • Medication

  • Keys

  • Sensitive personal information

  • Other unusually valuable items

Dock & Done should not be used as a storage or custodial service for valuable property.

20. Provisioning and Requested Purchases

Dock & Done provides concierge services such as sourcing, coordinating, picking up, delivering, placing, and organizing requested items for customers.

Prices displayed by Dock & Done for provisioning are concierge service fees only and do not include the cost of merchandise unless specifically stated otherwise.

Requested items may include food, snacks, ice, water, non-alcoholic beverages, flowers, charcuterie, decorations, event supplies, convenience items, and other customer-requested goods.

Requested products are obtained from independent third-party vendors. Customers are responsible for the actual cost of those products, including applicable taxes, delivery charges, vendor fees, and other third-party costs.

When Dock & Done purchases items on a customer's behalf, the customer authorizes Dock & Done to act as the customer's purchasing agent for those items. Third-party merchandise costs will be passed through at the actual amount charged by the vendor, without merchandise markup, and will be stated separately from Dock & Done's concierge service fee.

Product availability is not guaranteed. If a requested item is unavailable, Dock & Done may contact the customer regarding an alternative or substitution.

21. Alcohol and Regulated Products

Dock & Done does not sell, purchase, deliver, transport, provide, or furnish alcoholic beverages.

Alcohol is not included in any Dock & Done membership, concierge service, provisioning service, event setup, or other offering.

Customers who wish to have alcoholic beverages aboard their vessel are solely responsible for purchasing, obtaining, transporting, and placing those beverages on the vessel themselves or arranging service directly through an appropriately licensed third-party provider.

Dock & Done will not collect payment for alcoholic beverages or include the cost of alcoholic beverages in any Dock & Done invoice, reimbursement, or service charge.

22. Third-Party Products and Vendors

Certain requests may involve products or services supplied by third parties.

Examples include:

  • Food vendors

  • Florists

  • Catering companies

  • Charcuterie providers

  • Event vendors

  • Delivery services

  • Marine professionals

Dock & Done does not manufacture third-party products and cannot guarantee their availability, quality, performance, allergens, warranties, or delivery timing beyond our own reasonable coordination efforts.

Any manufacturer or vendor warranty applicable to a product remains subject to that third party's terms.

23. Food Allergies and Dietary Requirements

Customers are responsible for informing Dock & Done of relevant dietary preferences and allergies when ordering food or provisioning.

Dock & Done may coordinate products from third-party stores and vendors and therefore cannot guarantee that food has been prepared in an allergen-free facility or has not come into contact with allergens.

Customers with severe allergies should independently verify products before consumption.

24. Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for services or purchases beyond the customer's included benefits.

Examples may include:

  • Additional concierge visits

  • Provisioning

  • Merchandise

  • Special event setup

  • Flowers

  • Food

  • Ice

  • Third-party purchases

  • Special requests

  • Services requiring additional personnel or time

Where reasonably practical, material additional charges will be disclosed before they are incurred.

25. Membership Discounts

Membership discounts apply only to eligible Dock & Done service fees designated as discount-eligible.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, membership discounts do not apply to:

  • Purchased goods

  • Food

  • Beverages

  • Flowers

  • Merchandise

  • Taxes

  • Tips

  • Delivery fees

  • Third-party vendor charges

  • Reimbursements

  • Other pass-through expenses

26. Membership Gifts

Certain memberships may include complimentary membership gifts.

Signature and Reserve membership gifts may become available after two consecutive successful monthly membership payments, according to the membership benefits in effect when purchased.

To receive an applicable membership gift:

  • The membership must be active.

  • The membership must be in good standing.

  • Required payments must have been successfully completed.

Membership gifts:

  • Have no cash value.

  • Are not redeemable for credit.

  • Are limited to one applicable set per membership account unless specifically stated otherwise.

  • Are not automatically reissued following cancellation and later re-enrollment.

27. Service Completion Photos

Dock & Done may take limited photographs of the vessel before, during, or after service for purposes such as:

  • Confirming service completion

  • Documenting vessel condition

  • Showing placement of requested items

  • Documenting damage or unusual conditions

  • Internal quality control

  • Resolving customer questions

These photographs may be retained as internal business records.

I would specifically say that Dock & Done will NOT use identifiable customer/vessel photos for advertising or social media without separate permission. That feels much more appropriate for the privacy expectations of yacht owners.

28. Emergencies and Visible Problems

If Dock & Done observes something that reasonably appears unusual or potentially urgent while providing service, we may attempt to contact the customer.

Examples might include:

  • Significant unexpected water

  • Apparent damage

  • An unsecured vessel

  • Clearly abnormal conditions

  • Evidence of unauthorized entry

However, Dock & Done does not provide emergency monitoring, security monitoring, bilge monitoring, storm monitoring, or continuous vessel-watch services unless specifically contracted in writing.

Customers remain responsible for maintaining appropriate marina services, vessel monitoring, insurance, and emergency procedures.

29. Customer Communications

By making a booking or purchasing a membership, customers agree to receive communications reasonably related to their service or account.

These may include:

  • Booking confirmations

  • Appointment reminders

  • Schedule updates

  • Membership receipts

  • Billing notices

  • Renewal information

  • Service questions

  • Membership information

  • Important operational notices

Marketing communications will be handled separately where required by applicable law.

30. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors and scheduling platforms.

Dock & Done does not necessarily receive or store the customer's full payment-card information.

Customers are responsible for maintaining valid payment information for recurring memberships.

If a recurring payment fails, membership benefits may be paused until payment is successfully completed.

31. Refunds

Membership payments, completed services, and purchased goods are generally non-refundable after they have been provided or the applicable billing period has begun, except where otherwise required by law or expressly approved by Dock & Done.

If Dock & Done is unable to provide a service that has been separately purchased and no reasonable alternative or rescheduling can be provided, Dock & Done may issue an appropriate refund or credit.

Nothing in these Terms eliminates any refund rights that cannot legally be waived.

32. Service Availability

Dock & Done currently primarily serves vessels within its designated service area.

Availability may depend on:

  • Marina

  • Vessel location

  • Dock accessibility

  • Staffing

  • Travel requirements

  • Harbor rules

  • Vessel size

  • Requested service

  • Scheduling capacity

Dock & Done may decline requests outside its service area or operational capabilities.

33. Marina and Harbor Rules

Customers acknowledge that marinas, yacht clubs, homeowner associations, harbor authorities, dockmasters, and property owners may maintain their own rules regarding commercial service providers and vessel access.

The customer is responsible for identifying any customer-specific or vessel-specific access restrictions that Dock & Done would not reasonably know.

Dock & Done may decline service where performing it would violate applicable access restrictions or law.

34. Damage and Reporting Concerns

Dock & Done will exercise reasonable care while servicing vessels.

If a customer believes Dock & Done caused physical damage during service, the customer should notify Dock & Done as soon as reasonably possible and provide relevant photographs or information so the issue can be investigated.

Customers should avoid repairing or altering the affected area before Dock & Done has a reasonable opportunity to inspect or document the alleged damage when practicable.

Nothing in this section waives any rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

35. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dock & Done will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from circumstances outside Dock & Done's reasonable control.

Dock & Done is not responsible for loss caused by:

  • Pre-existing vessel conditions

  • Ordinary wear and tear

  • Hidden defects

  • Manufacturer defects

  • Severe weather

  • Marina conditions

  • Theft or vandalism not caused by Dock & Done

  • Acts of third parties

  • Customer-provided instructions

  • Incorrect access information

  • Events outside Dock & Done's reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

36. Force Majeure

Dock & Done will not be responsible for delays or inability to perform caused by events reasonably outside its control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Natural disasters

  • Fires

  • Harbor closures

  • Government orders

  • Emergencies

  • Labor disruptions

  • Utility failures

  • Transportation disruptions

  • Marina closures

  • Other extraordinary circumstances

Dock & Done will use reasonable efforts to reschedule affected services where appropriate.

37. Misuse of Services

Dock & Done may refuse or terminate service when a customer:

  • Requests unlawful activity

  • Threatens or harasses personnel

  • Creates unsafe working conditions

  • Repeatedly provides inaccurate information

  • Fails to make required payments

  • Misuses membership benefits

  • Engages in fraudulent activity

  • Attempts to use Dock & Done services in violation of marina or governmental rules

Where reasonably appropriate, Dock & Done may provide notice before terminating an ongoing membership.

38. Changes to Services

Dock & Done may improve, modify, add, or discontinue individual services, operating procedures, or non-material membership features.

Material changes affecting recurring pricing or other terms subject to consumer-notice laws will be communicated as required by applicable law.

39. Changes to These Terms

Dock & Done may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.

Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise permitted by law.

When applicable law requires advance notice or customer consent for a particular change, Dock & Done will provide that notice or obtain that consent.

40. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any rights provided to consumers under applicable federal, state, or local law remain unaffected where those rights cannot legally be waived.

41. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

42. No Waiver

A failure by Dock & Done to enforce any provision of these Terms on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.

43. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the applicable membership description, booking information, purchase information, and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between the customer and Dock & Done regarding the applicable services.

If a specific written agreement between Dock & Done and a customer expressly conflicts with these general Terms, the specific written agreement will control regarding that conflict.
